Today’s sightseeing begins at the Grand
Palace and Wat Phra Kaew (the temple of
the Emerald Buddha), Built in 1782, and
for 150 years the home of the Thai King,
this compound of gilded pavilions and
elegant temples is undoubtedly Bangkok’s
most famous landmark. After a visit to the
Gems and Thai Silk factory, your afternoon
is at leisure. In the evening enjoy a Thai
Classical Dance with dinner.

Day 3 • Bangkok |
This morning visit the floating market located
at Ratchaburi Province. Also known as
Damnoen Saduak , the market dates back
to 1866. You’ll gain a unique insight to the
traditional way of selling and buying local
produce from small boats on the canal. The
balance of the day is free at your leisure.

Day 4 • Bangkok / Chiang Mai |
Transfer to the airport for your flight to
Chiang Mai. Upon arrival transfer to your
hotel. The balance of your day is at leisure.
In the evening enjoy a traditional meal prepared
in the Khantoke style. Seated on the
floor with cushions, you will be offered an
array of classical dishes while entertained
with exciting and stimulating performances.
The evening concludes with performances
from the Akha, Yao, Lahu, Meo and Karen
Hill Tribes.

Day 5 • Chiang Mai |
Today’s sightseeing will include Doi Suthep
& City Temples. The tour features a scenic
drive through the most historic areas of
Chiang Mai. The drive continues into
Tapae before continuing to the acclaimed
temple Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep, home to
a holy relic of the Lord Buddha. Situated
3,500 feet above sea level, from the
summit, you will be treated to a panoramic
view of the city before leaving to visit the
sacred temple of Wat Suan Dok, containing
the ashes of Chiang Mai’s Royal
Families. Today’s trip concludes at Wat Jed
Yod, another impressive temple highlighted
by seven spires and classical architecture
that commemorates the two-thousandth
year of the Buddhist era. In the afternoon
you will visit San Kampaeng, famous for
its local cottage industries and handicrafts,
including authentic Thai silk and cotton
weaving.

Day 6 • Chiang Mai |
Today’s program begins at the Chiang Dao
young elephant training camp. At the camp
you will observe the elephants taking their
morning baths in a stream before commencing
their daily work routines such as pulling
and pilling logs and performing many other
interesting activities. The last stop is a visit
to the Orchid Farm before arriving back at
the hotel in the late afternoon

Day 7 • Chiang Mai / Chiang Rai |
After breakfast leave Chiang Mai for
a scenic drive through a picturesque
landscape of mountains and valleys. Enjoy
lunch at Maekok River Village. Upon arrival
to Chiang Rai you will visit the Hill Tribes
of Karen Long Necked and Big Earrings at
Yapha Village.

Day 8 • Chiang Rai |
This morning transfer to Chiang Saen (A.D.
1260), the ancient city of Chiang Rai on
the steep banks of Mae Khong River and
featuring magnificent ruins and temples.
Continue to the world famous Golden Triangle
where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar
meet the Mae Khong River. After lunch, proceed
to visit Mae Sai, the furthest northern
trading border town between Thailand and
Myanmar. In this busy trading town you will

Day 9 • Chiang Rai / Bangkok |
After breakfast transfer to the airport for
your return flight to Bangkok. The remainder
of the day is at your leisure.
