Grand Cayman The largest of the three island beauties. Grand Cayman is home to the breathtaking white-sand Seven Miles Beach, lively cafes and open-air bars, the entertaining-for-the-whole-family. Cayman Turtle Farm and Stingray City and some the world's top dive destinations.
Little Cayman Located 90 miles northeast of Grand Cayman, this 10-miles-long coral atoll island is home to the Bloody Bay Wall, one of diving's ultimate destinations; the largest bird santuary in the Caribbean; and famously picturesque beaches.
Cayman Brac Crowned by a majestic 140-foot bluff (hence the name Brac, a Gaelic word for bluff), the 12-miles-long Cayman Brac is a sports paradise appealing to dive enthusiasts, cave spelunkers and hikers.
Climate: Temperatures are mild year-round. The coolest month is February, when temperatures may range from a low of 64°F (18°C) to a high of 85°F (29°C).
Documents: U.S. and Canadian citizens require proof of citizenship, a valid photo ID and a return or ongoing ticket. A driver's license is not a valid proof of citizenship. Citizens from all other countries must present a valid passport.
Currency: Cayman Islands Dollar; US$1 = CI$0.80; U.S. Dollars are widely accepted.
Electricity: 110 volts/60 AC; U.S. appliances are compatible.
Taxes and Tipping: The departure tax is US$12
Time: Eastern Standard Time that switches to Eastern Daylight Time to correspond with the U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
Languages: English.
Marriage Requirements: Couples must present a non-resident marriage license and a letter from the authorized Marrige Officer who will officate at the ceremony. Applications for the license, which cost $200, can be obtained from the Chief Secretary's Office, Room 406, Government Administration Building, George Town, Grand Cayman, BWI. Proof of marital status (divorce decree or death certificate, if applicable); Cayman Islands immigration slips or documents proving visitors are cruise passengers; and two witnesses are also required. There is no minimum stay.
