| Day 5: Old City of Jerusalem |
| (WED)- Walk through the Gates to the Old City: the Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, the Temple area, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive to Mt Zion and visit the tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper. Continue to Bethlehem* to visit Rachel’s Tomb and Church of the Nativity (visit subject to availability). | (THU)- Leave Jerusalem and drive via Jericho* (visit subject to availability), the oldest city in the world, to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this preserved Roman City. Proceed to Tiberias, and drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Overnight in Kibbutz hotel. (B) |
